Simple Exercises For Losing Weight

Be sure to do stretches before you workout. This will help your flexibility and prevent injuries. Also it doesn't hurt to stretch in between or after workouts as well. These exercises for losing weight will help you get started.

Leg raises. This exercise will help burn fat in your abdominal area. Lie down on your back with your arms by your side. Slowly lift one leg in the air slowly and then as you slowly lower your leg raise your other leg.

Dancing. If you like you can put on some of your favorite party tracks and have some fun while burning fat. This is one I prefer and has helped me over the years to stay in shape.

Walking is one of the simplest and easiest exercise to do. You can even increase your calorie burn by walking faster or walking up and down stairs. After that you can jog for a little while to help out.

Weight lifting has been proven to help lose weight over time. You don't have to lift 150+ lbs. either. Remember this is for losing weight not building a ton of muscle. Find a weight that you can handle without straining yourself and do more reps with them as this burns fat.

If your a mother or father that have kids you can play with them. It's wonderful to spend time and have some fun with your kids but it's also a bonus to help lose weight in the process. If they are infants you can use them for weights. Most babies like being held up in the air and then back down. Believe it or not it's exercise.
